Barcelona, 20th of December 1977
Professionally qualified in Publicity and Public Relations through the "University Autònoma
of Barcelona", also qualified in graphic designing through "Escuela Llotja de Barcelona".
At the moment she works as a Graphic Designer in the agency of Publicis Casadevall Pedreño of Barcelona.
Since the beginning she has been considered a creative person. As a child she would not let go of the colored pencils, glue or the sellotape. She always had her nails full of play dough and her hands were always stained with colours. Anna’s parents and relatives would fear that on any given day she might decide to redecorate part of the house, that she would give different style to the dining room. One day, they got up and found the beds were glued with newspapers, and little Anna smiled and said… " You like it? if you get bored before you go to sleep you can read the news" ... aah, how cute!
Yes, Anna was a dedicated little girl. She once was told that if she wanted to be an artist she would have to starve and live under a bridge. Anna likes the good life, so therefor she decided to study graphic design and communications.
She tried publicity, hoping that this world would fulfil her artistic and creative views. But she wanted more. In order to fulfil her needs she went to study Graphic Design.
Once finished, Anna worked in studios and agencies, for example Bassat Ogilvy, Publicist Casadevall & Pedreño and Next, designing announcements and pamphlets for clients like Nestle, Dodot, Buitoni, ColaCao and Rowenta, among others. In addition, Anna works for her own clients, such as the City council of Sant Quirze of the Vallès, Univet, Nafree, the Spanish Foundation of Pharmacology and Ecology.
In addition to graphic designing and publicity she has also worked and explored the world of Art looking for new techniques, doing cartoons, and painting canvases. At the moment you can see her latest collection “Te lo pongo en bandeja” in the American Prints Gallery of Barcelona. Other exhibitions have been in the City council of Palamós (2005), Pati Llimona (2002), the poster woman in the MACBA with the project "The City of the Words" (2001), canvases in the Aliaga-Tower Study (2000) and the Bar of Sargantana Badalona (1996).
As far as prizes, we shall emphasize the 1st prize for the mural of the patio in the school of John Talabot (1995), the 3rd prize painting from the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona (2000) and 2nd prize for the Carnival by the Beach City council of Hoop (2001).
