Rodrigo Martín
Born in 1986 in Astuias. Plastic artist and student of Fine arts in the Faculty of Bilbao, deals his last year of career in the Faculty of Fine arts of Barcelona thanks to the Scholarship Seneca.From small one sees interested in the plastic world though it does not penetrate very much into his development, realizes works of self-taught form but without need of an aesthetic artistic certain result.
Later, he joins the Institute IES Cuenca of the Nalón of Langreo-Asturias to deal Baccalaureate of Fine arts, where he begins to take his first contact with the most specific art of a way. One starts being of interest in the painting and the different possibilities that there offers the drawing applied with his diverse technologies. During this period he takes part in some collective exhibition inside his natal zone in manifestation against the Violence of Genre.
Determined to continue with his artistic formation in 2004, he joins the Faculty of Fine arts of the Basque Country where he centres on the engraving calcográfico by means of the educations of the recording artist Chema Eléxpuru.
In 2006 one offers him the opportunity of he fulfils the multiple Christmas ones in engraving of the University of the Basque Country that they will be distributed by the rest of powers of the country, which BilbaoArte Fundazioa helps itself incorporate later into the workshops of the Foundation for the work inside the graphical technologies.
In 2007 he realizes his first individual exhibition of Painting and Engraving in Asturias " Gestures, Tensions and Tests(Essays) ". Where it he offers a varied sample of engraving and paintings that were changing from the imagination to the abstraction.
In the beginning of 2008 it he takes part in some collective exhibitions inside the Basque Country both of engraving and of painting. Some participations in contests allow him(her) to take part in realizing collective samples of photography, where it he tries to be employed at another way of expression different from the used one always at his work.
Santiago Ortega penetrates into the knowledge of painting by means of the plastic artist Imperial sand grouse, and realizes his second individual exhibition in Asturias " Tempo gives Saudade ", composed entirely by painting and drawing, which makes to him(her) take more conscience of the potential of the painting and of his desire of continuing being employed at this field.
In September, 2008 SENECA travels to Barcelona to continue the studies of Fine arts by means of the Scholarship - SICUE, which gives him(her) the opportunity to continue being employed at the painting at a city that allows him(her) new plastic capacities and of creation. In October of the same year he begins to form a part of the group of painters DIP in Barcelona collaborating in several acts and exhibitions.
Nowadays he resides in Barcelona finishing his University studies and developing his pictorial project in relation to the city and her variety of peoples.
