Nico Napolitano : Artista
Nico Napolitano was born in Milan, Italy 1974. Since a very early age he has been passionate about drawing and dreamt of having a career as an artist. However as his father didnīt support the idea of him going to Art school to further his skill, he therefore developed his career as a SAP Programmer but maintained his interest to draw as a hobby.
Having had no official schooling or training in Art or Design, he has developed his skill over the years and has produced a large portfolio. He is inspired by real life situations that surround him everyday, love, travel, jazz music and society today.
His art demonstrates surrealism in the modern day. His work consists mostly of surreal drawings expressed with strong colours, created using wax pencils.
He moved from London to Andorra where he gained recognition for his work by holding three successful exhibitions. He has recently moved to Barcelona where he hopes to further improve his talent.
