Sissel Johanne Drag: Born in Norway in 1970. Barcelona 2007.
I used to watch other people create their stuff with colors and paints.
I loved it.
And I found I was envious.
So I found a piece of cardboard and bought a thick black pen and some cheap acrylic colours and set off for myself.
And I had to start from the very beginning:
Make some doodles on a piece of paper and fill in the spaces with color.
And I loved it.
Eventually I started to see some shapes in the doodles, and I followed them. And some kind of style emerged. I don`t know what to call it.
I love it.
(I still use cardboards and acrylics. I still don`t know what to call it. I just love it.)
