THE MINUTE MUSEUM by Trish and Dan Scott

Featured artist: Trish Scott

CARRER SANT HONORAT NO.11
18th Nov 08 - 30th Nov 08

Can you see the city in a minute?
The Minute Museum presents an arbitrary moment of city life on a Barcelona street corner. (C/ Llibreteria, C/de Freneria at 14:45: on October the 1st 2008). The Minute Museum is about the transitory moments in a city. Although overlooked and unremembered, each of these moments is a unique intersection of occurrences in space and time, a constantly changing and fragmentary mix of people, objects, colours, movement, smells and sounds.
Featuring sensory exhibits, collections of artefacts and subjective accounts the Museum raises the lost moment from obscurity into history.

The Minute Museum is the latest in a series of collaborations by artist Trish Scott and sound artist and musician Dan Scott exploring the boundaries between memory, history and imagination that underlie the everyday.
